Is Honda Element a good vehicle to buy?

I have always wanted to buy a Honda Element SUV for my wife but I’ve always heard people saying it’s a trouble car. I know a woman near my house who used it for years so I wonder why didn’t it disturb her. Please can somebody who knows about cars educate me on how good it is and if I should buy it. I live in Owerri
